Well, 'tis the season, and 'tis the time to have lots of mouths to feed! I love Christmas so very much. I love that it brings family home.

This morning I got hungry. Crazy right? Not only me but all the sibs were about ready for a mid morning snack too. I decided I wanted my grandma's homemade cheese ball. My sweet grandma is celebrating her second Christmas with our Savior in heaven. She was so much fun. Always cracking jokes, always.

Here they are. The dynamic duo of their day no doubt. Wish so much they were still singing along to Bing Crosby's White Christmas as we all gathered around the TV each Christmas Eve to watch as a family.

And here is another cherished memory from Christmas 4 years ago. Indiana has one of the biggest places in my heart thanks to their legacy.

So grandma made me a cheese ball one year that I absolutely loved. And I believe I have made it every Christmas since! It seriously is just 3 ingredients. And it's so good.

Cream cheese, dried beef, and green onions. That's it!

So this morning when I got hungry and thought about this easy crowd pleaser, I threw together a full charcuterie board of different meats and cheeses. This particular cheese ball was devoured pretty fast. You can't go wrong with easy and delicious.

Recipe:

1, 8 oz. package cream cheese (can be softened but not necessary)

1 can dried beef, diced

3 stalks green onions, sliced

Mix it all together then form a ball and serve with your favorite crackers!

Family and food just go so well together, don't they?
