Briefly Me
I wanted to give a brief but clear representation of the girl behind these posts. Some of you reading have known me forever. Some of you may not know me at all. Some of you may have known me at one point, but we’ve lost touch. Whatever our relationship may be, here’s a little story about me.
Long ago, in the land of flat terrain and open skies, there was a little girl. But to plainly put it, I was born in Muncie, Indiana. And that state fully has my heart. Even though I was only three years old when we moved, let me tell ya, Indiana basketball is my earthly love. But, anyways. Indiana was the start of my life before my family moved to Wilson, NC. We were there for ten years, and I have the best of memories there. Those shaping years came from godly influence, a structured home, and a wonderful church family who poured into my life from as far back as I can remember. Right before I turned thirteen, my family moved to Anderson, SC. My dad was a pastor, and my mom was a teacher through my growing up years. They have been faithful in the little things and my greatest supporters through all life’s curve balls. After graduating high school, my family moved to Greenville, SC where my dad became the director for a mission’s board called EMU International. I attended Bob Jones University double majoring in culinary arts and business while also playing soccer for the university. I graduated in December of 2018 and jumped into my job at The Wilds Christian Camp and Conference Center. I have so much I could say about this camp and how it influenced me from an early age, but I will save that for a rainy day.
That is an extremely condensed story of my life leaving out all the embarrassing stories, challenging moments, growing opportunities and more. But I didn’t think you would be interested in a book as a blog post.
To summarize my life now, I am the assistant manager of the coffee shop here at camp called Cool Beans, and I also supervise in laundry here. Camp is cool because everyone has a variety of hats they wear, and even those they don’t wear they are so willing to jump in and help wherever for the good of the ministry.

I have one brother, sister in law, and the cutest, chubbiest nephew!

I have an older sister, brother in law, and first niece on the way!

And I have a little sister who doubles as my closest friend.

Wow, I can’t express how thankful I am for my family.

I live in the cutest little house here at camp we call an A-frame. My roomie's name is Emaley, and we both love coffee and candles.

If you can’t find me, I am probably somewhere with a book or watching college basketball. Did I mention my overwhelming love for big ten basketball? (Go badgers and hoosiers.)

And my favorite fact, I am dating the most incredible man in the entire world. Seriously, he is the best. More stories to come about my guy at a later date.

So, I just wanted to give a very brief look into my life. Deeper, more transparent stories and truths coming soon. But for now, happy Friday!
