What a whirlwind the past several months have been! I know it's not unique to just me. I am sure everyone is feeling that way. Despite me finally broadcasting to the world that this website exists, I haven't actually posted on here in 6 months! And let me tell ya, a lot can happen in 6 months! For example, I got engaged and married!

The best day ever. May 9, 2020.

So that was clearly my biggest life transition in the last 6 months. But so many other things have been going on as well. At camp, we were able to have 3 amazing weeks with campers on the campsite. That was truly a gift from God to allow us to still have that time. Due to government restrictions, rising COVID cases, and the unique atmosphere camp presents, we had to close for the remainder of the summer. As difficult as it was to say goodbye to our summer staff and upcoming campers, God blessed us with more unique opportunities to have camp. Caleb and I have been traveling with a small team for the past couple of weeks taking camp on the road to different churches. Since a firm core value of The Wilds is to serve the local church, it has been such a blessing to see the different ministries that usually come to us and be a part of them under their roof (or on a big ball field nearby). I have been able to be a part of so many different aspects of camp that I don't typically get to interact with. It has been an adventure, and we are excited for more weeks of this opportunity!

There's a little update. Lots of blessings to be counting.
